As a result of browsing this site, data may be processed that relates to identified or identifiable persons. The Controller is NEWCHEM S.p.A., in the person of the legal representative pro tempore.
Processing connected to this site’s web services is done at the company’s offices and is carried out by technical personnel duly assigned to perform such processing, or by personnel used for occasional maintenance operations.
No data derived from a web service is communicated or disclosed.
Personal data provided by users who send requests for informational material to be sent to them (e.g. bulletins, CD-ROMs, catalogues, price lists, answers to questions, various documents, etc.) is used solely for the purpose of providing the requested service.
Browsing data
The information systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, as part of their normal operation, certain personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected in order to be associated to an identified data subject but, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, be used to identify users.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users to connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computing environment.
This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check that it is operating correctly. Once processed, the data is deleted immediately. Data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the case of a hypothetical computer crime against the site: except for this eventuality, currently, data on web contacts is not kept for more than seven days.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of an email to one or more of the addresses indicated on this site will lead to the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s email address, which is needed in order to reply to the request, as well as any other personal data that the sender might include in the email.
Specific summary informational notices will be progressively reported or displayed on the site’s pages set up for particular, on-request services.

Apart from that specified under browsing data, the user is free to decide whether or not to supply his/her personal data. Failing to provide such personal data may, however, make it impossible for the user to obtain a response to his/her request.
Personal data is processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which such data was collected.
Specific security measures are followed in order to prevent any loss of data, illegal or improper use of data, and unauthorised access to such data.
Any transfer of personal data to a third country outside the European Union, or to an international organisation, shall be done on the basis of the Commission’s adequacy decision or, in the case of a transfer under articles 46, 47 or 49(2) of the EU Regulation, on the basis of appropriate and adequate guarantees.
Those parties to whom the personal data refers have the right, at any moment, to request access to the personal data that concerns them and to have such data rectified or deleted. These parties also have the right to restrict processing of the personal data that concerns them and to object to such processing, as well as the right to data portability. They also have the right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority.
